ackson, you have grown up at Bear Creek Baptist Church and have been an example of integrity and a leader in the youth group now. So I’d like to ask you a few questions to get to know you better. Here are ten questions I have for you.

To start things off, tell me what hobbies you enjoy? What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to ride mountain bikes, play piano, and play disc golf whenever I get the chance.

What school do you attend? And what grade level are you at?

I am a homeschooler in the 11th grade.

What is your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject in school is history.

Next, let’s get a little more personal and would you tell me about your testimony of how you met the Lord and what He means to you in your life?

I became a Christian at 6 years old, so for pretty much all of my life I have known and loved the Lord. It always feels good knowing I can pray to God wherever and whenever I can.

I know that you are a gifted musician on the piano. Playing the piano is very dear and close to my heart as well. Have you learned any additional instruments? And how has the piano and music affected the outlook of your life so far?

Piano is the only instrument I play. I do try to listen to good, godly Christian music to keep my mind spiritually clean.

What is your favorite song?

My favorite song to listen to is “Only by Following Jesus” by Keith Green. My favorite song to play “It is Well with my Soul” arranged by Cindy Berry.

What is your favorite Bible verse? And what does it mean to you?

My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, because it is a reminder that all things are possible through God.

Who are your role models?

My parents are what I would consider my role models. My father is a godly, patient, loving man who always keeps his cool, and my mother is a godly woman of integrity. I hope someday I can be as patient, godly, loving, and funny as they are.

Since you are looking toward school graduation soon, what are your goals for the future and are there any specific goals you can share?

My goal as a Christian is to draw people to Christ, and share the Word with them. I would also like to try to read my Bible on a daily basis.

Now one last question. What is one thing you’d love to have more of?

One thing I would love to have more of is knowledge of God’s Word.
